Supply Chain Manager


Sika Danmark A/S is looking for an engaged Supply Chain Manager, who will be responsible for managing the Nordic Warehouses and purchasing. As a member of our management team, you will have an important position in our organization and play a key role in the positive growth of the company.

We expect you to be result focused and open for new business opportunities and if you can create the best customer experience in an ever changing environment, have a strong personality, and thrive with management and business responsibility; you might be the right person for the position.

The position

In the Supply Chain Manager position you will be responsible for the Nordic Warehouse in Hedehusene and in Fredensborg, EHS, and the purchasing department. You must be very structured, and analytic to constantly improve the delivery out of the warehouses and strong in purchasing with internal as external suppliers. It is a key success factor that you are service minded and understand the importance of good service and that we need to be flexible to succeed in this kind of business.

You will geographically have your office in our Danish headquarter in Fredensborg, but you must expect to spend time weekly in Hedehusene. You will report directly to the General Manager for Sika Danmark A/S

Your competences

It is a must that you are a chemical engineer and have worked with in the chemical
industry. You have wide experience as a manager and thorough knowledge of the
business within supply chain and purchasing. Knowledge form the construction business
will be an advantage. You can build up and maintain good relations to suppliers,
colleagues as well as to you own organisation.

You have to be ambitious and innovative with good analytic abilities. You must master English reading and writing, and it is an advantage if you are able to communicate in one of the Nordic languages. It would be a big advantage if you have experience in working with SAP, Axapta or other ERP systems.
